Map of Current Forest Fires in Ontario
Ministry of Natural Resources has an on-line map of current active forest fires in Ontario.
Thick smoke from the fires surrounding Sandy Lake prompted Phase 1 of the evacuation on Monday, July 18, however by Tuesday the proximity of Red Lake #58 to the community resulted in the full evacuation.
