Phase 1 Evacuation Update

                As of August 3, 2012 there are currently 658 registered evacuees spread out among Thunder Bay and Fort Francis. There are 89 community members located in Fort Francis while 568 have been relocated to Thunder Bay. This number includes community members who were already out of the community on business, medical, or personal reasons and have qualified for Phase 1 evacuation.

                As of 4:50 pm Central time, planning is now underway to return evacuees to the community. Community members will begin returning home starting Sunday and will continue over the course of two days.
