Muddy Water Music Festival Takes Center Stage

The Muddy Water Music Festival is well underway at the Treaty Site in Sandy Lake. Rez Metal, Lil Lucan, DJ Ken G, Blu and a Katy Perry Tribute Show were some of the musicians to perform on the second day of the festival today.

Garry Kehoe performed Johnny Cash favorites like Ring of Fire as well as the Hank Snow classic I'm Moving On. He was even joined onstage by June Carter for a rendition of Jackson. Crowd favorite Blu closed Thursday's lineup.

The festival has been an annual summer event since 1983 featuring a mix of diverse local talents and out-of-town headlining acts. The MWMF started on Wednesday, July 30th and runs until Saturday, August 2nd. Musicians scheduled to perform include These Kids, Sons of Jimmy, Gallagher, a Lady GaGa tribute, Drink Me Pretty, Bear Paws, Rat House and more.
